Minor in Spanish
The Spanish minor consists of a minimum of 18 units in Spanish, at least 12 of which must be upper-division (6 of the upper-division units must be taken in residence at SDSU or in an SDSU Spanish Department approved study abroad program).
Please refer to the language requirements & high school equivalencies page before proceeding.
Preparation for the Minor
- SPAN 101, 102, 201, 202, 211, and 212 (SPAN 201 and 211; SPAN 202 and 212 may be taken concurrently)
- SPAN 281 replaces 201 and 211; SPAN 282 replaces 202 and 212 for US Hispanics or Heritage
